A dear friend of mine, Mark Joy contacted me a few weeks ago and said he was in need of some new Actor Headshots. Of course I was delighted! It’s hard to believe I have known Mark for almost 9 years and I am very glad we have kept in touch. I have taken acting classes from him when I was just starting out my acting career. Yup! I am not only a photographer but an actor too.

I really look up to Mark because, not only have I taken classes with him and have learned a lot, but also had the chance to film him during the making of a film called Bordertown. It’s always a real treat to watch an actor in front of my lens. Whether I am shooting stills or filming, seeing an actor transform into a character is magical. Every time I have watched Mark act, you can tell he is confident and comfortable with the characters he plays. And gosh darn it, he always makes it look so easy! Mark you are one of my inspirations and I am so happy with the way these shots turned out. Also, a big thanks to the talented Cecelia for doing Marks make-up… side note: I just love working with her! Amazing! Thanks to both of you for a great day! Here are a few of my favorites from the day!
