My friend Tamara and I talked about doing a CAKE SMASH photo session for her one-year-old Henry. This would not be my first cake smash photo shoot because I had done one with my Nephew and it was a great! However, I had learned some things from the first one. For instance, my backdrop, I wanted it to be smooth and so I went with a paper backdrop instead of cloth. Also, I wanted to have as much natural light as possible and no flash. So, after getting on pinterest and researching looks and cakes ect.. I was ready.

First, we took some shots outside that came out super cute! We then we decorated a huge cupcake that I had baked. Tamara, who is super talented at cake decorating made this awesome dinosaur design. I will say, I don’t think Henry cared about it much about the design, but BOY OH BOY he loved that icing! It was fun spending time with Tamera and Henry and I can’t believe he is one already!
