November 8th, 2014 was a very special day indeed. Elisabeth and Chris tied the knot! Their wedding took place at The Golden Horseshoe Inn, located in Standardsvile, VA. It’s a very sweet and charming venue and being surrounded by the mountains makes it even more romantic!

Elisabeth and Chris are just a wonderful couple! To be honest, I feel more like a friend than photographer to them. I say this because I photographed their engagement session as well as a small ceremony that was held months before their wedding in November. Chris’s Mother, Stephanie, who was a shining light of a woman sadly passed away before this November wedding. They had the small ceremony so Chris’s Mother could see their wedding. It was a true honor to have met her and I know she was looking down from heaven on their special day.

Even though it was a little chilly the day of the wedding, I got some of the most wonderful photos. Every detail was AMAZING!!! I loved every aspect of the wedding and could tell how much thought Elisabeth put into every detail, such as; the ceremony cards, the table settings & centerpieces, the cake topper, the spice of life jar, the photo booth and the candy buffet station! She really did it right!

In summary, Elisabeth was a STUNNING bride and Chris was a most HANDSOME groom. I truly cannot say enough good things about this couple! Chris and Elisabeth, thank you for having me photograph your day and I wish you all the best in your new life together.
