The Battin family contacted me to shoot a family session at Maymont and it was GREAT! Missy and Chris and their two children were so much fun to photograph! Their kids were just adorable and not to mention funny! Their youngest told me what poses he wanted do and so I let him just do what he wanted. Of course, we had some posed shots in our session but my personal favorites are always the candid moments.

Children grow up so fast and sometimes in order for me to document their little personalities I have to just let them be themselves. I find siblings are especially interesting to photograph. Just watching them play and interact with one another is magical on it’s own. I am just glad I have a camera to catch these moments.
